PNRM MoD Project ADVISOR III (2012-2014)

The project is focused on the study of a multi-sensory system able to analyze and interpret independently the operating scenario that can occur in specific task such as civil protection after disasters, etc.. through the use of optical sensors (visible and / or MWIR / LWIR) positioned on one or more low cost UAVs.

The main objective of the proposed project is therefore to the analysis and development of innovative techniques for an automatic protection system that need to provide continuous coverage to rescue units in operational scenarios. Another objective is to study techniques for the automatic control of UAVs.
